UAE Fuel Prices for June 2026

The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced the retail prices for petrol and diesel for June 2026. The new rates take effect from June 1, 2026, at stations across the country. The committee reviews and adjusts retail fuel prices at the close of each month. It bases these revisions on prevailing trends in global energy markets and local market conditions.

All three petrol grades have increased this month. Super 98 petrol is priced at Dh3.95 per litre for June, compared with Dh3.66 per litre in May. Special 95 petrol is set at Dh3.83 per litre, against Dh3.55 per litre the previous month. E-Plus petrol is available at Dh3.76 per litre, up from Dh3.48 per litre in May. Each grade has risen by roughly 28 to 29 fils per litre compared with the previous month.

The increase affects motorists who use any of the three petrol grades. For drivers who fill a standard tank, the higher rates add up over the course of the month. Commuters who travel long distances daily will feel the difference more than occasional drivers.

UAE Diesel Prices for June 2026

Diesel prices have moved in the opposite direction this month. Diesel is priced at Dh4.33 per litre for June, down from Dh4.69 per litre in May. That marks a decrease of 36 fils per litre.

The drop offers some relief for drivers and businesses that rely on diesel. This includes commercial fleets, delivery operators, and heavy vehicles that run on diesel-powered engines. Diesel still costs more per litre than any of the petrol grades, but the lower rate eases monthly running costs for those who depend on it.

The split direction this month, with petrol rising and diesel falling, reflects how the two fuels track different segments of the global energy market.

The UAE moved to a deregulated fuel pricing system in 2015. Before that, prices were fixed. Since the change, the Fuel Price Committee has set rates on a monthly basis rather than holding them steady throughout the year. This system links local pump prices more closely to international oil movements.

The committee reviews retail fuel prices at the end of every month. According to the committee, the June revision reflects global oil trends and local market dynamics. It aligns the new rates with prevailing conditions in international energy markets, which means prices can rise or fall depending on where oil sits at the time of review.

For residents planning monthly budgets, the next review is expected at the end of June, when July prices will be announced. Until then, the June rates remain in place at petrol stations across all seven emirates.

The revised prices come into effect from June 1, 2026. Motorists can check the updated rates at fuel stations nationwide from the start of the month.
