Qatar Airways Boosts Doha-Dubai Flights to Five Daily

Qatar Airways is raising its daily Doha to Dubai flights from two to five this summer.

Qatar Airways is increasing its flights between Doha and Dubai from two to five daily services. The Dubai Media Office shared the update, and the airline confirmed the expansion began on June 5, 2026. The route connects Hamad International Airport in Doha with Dubai International Airport.

The airline is adding the flights in phases. The route went from two daily flights to three on June 5. A fourth daily flight starts on June 15. A fifth daily flight will return during the summer season. The full expansion brings the route to up to 35 weekly flights.

Qatar Airways said it raised the frequencies to meet growing demand and give passengers more flexibility between the two cities. The airline said the added services support both business and leisure travel. Dubai and Doha rank among the busiest aviation hubs in the Gulf, and the extra flights increase connectivity between them.

The route will run on Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft. Both fly in a two-class configuration. The wider summer schedule runs through September 15. Qatar Airways advised passengers to check its website or app for schedule updates and to keep their contact details current.

The expansion comes as Gulf carriers rebuild capacity ahead of the peak summer travel season. Demand between the two cities has been rising as travel across the region picks up. Adding three more daily flights gives passengers more departure times across the day and more options for short business trips and family visits.

Qatar Airways UAE Network

The Dubai flights are part of a wider return to the UAE. Qatar Airways scaled back parts of its regional network earlier this year after airspace restrictions disrupted flights across the Gulf. The airline has been restoring those routes in stages since then.

Qatar Airways resumed flights to Dubai and Sharjah in April. It restarted services to Abu Dhabi in May. The Doha to Dubai increase is the next step in that recovery. The airline said the phased approach lets it match capacity to demand as bookings climb through the summer.

The carrier now operates to more than 20 destinations across the Middle East. It plans to expand its global network to more than 160 destinations by the summer season. The Doha hub connects passengers from the UAE to routes across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, so more Dubai flights also feed the airline’s wider network.

Qatar Airways was named the World’s Best Airline for a ninth time at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards. The airline operates a large fleet of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 widebody jets, which it uses across both regional and long-haul routes.

The summer schedule may still change. Qatar Airways said flight times remain subject to operational, regulatory, and safety factors. The airline asked passengers to confirm their flight details before traveling and to keep their booking information up to date.

For travelers moving between the UAE and Qatar, the change means more daily choice on one of the Gulf’s busier short-haul routes. The added frequencies took effect at the start of June and will build through the season.
